This class will meet in the Albert L. Lorenzo Cultural Center, Room 137.

This program will focus on Macomb County’s underground infrastructure and the movement of water. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats will be discussed relating to the safe transmission of wastewater, efficient storm water management, and the importance of best practice municipal infrastructure management to improve water quality and the quality of life for the residents of Macomb County.

About the Presenter: Dan Acciavatti currently serves as deputy Macomb County public works commissioner alongside Commissioner Candice S. Miller. He studied civil engineering at the University of Michigan, served in the Michigan Legislature (2003–2008), and most recently represented Chesterfield Township as township supervisor (2016–2021). He has over 30 years of experience designing, managing and implementing underground infrastructure projects with the goal of protecting our environment. Dan’s message strongly resonates with MORE attendees, and he is one of our most popular presenters.
